We have been visiting Moises Herrera and Marysabel Caballero in Marcala, Honduras since before we started roasting coffee and we have been buying from their Finca JR since 2013. It is our longest standing relationship, direct or indirect.
This year's lot is another beauty. It is 100% Catuaí grown at around 1590 masl. All lots that we buy from Moises and Marysabel are wet-fermented, washed and dried on raised beds under shade.
